Throwing the YachtStrop/BoatStrop

Throw the YachtStrop/BoatStrop in its open position over the survivor.

Ensnaring the survivor

The centre of the YachtStrop/BoatStrop will sink around the survivor. The ends of the YachtStrop/BoatStrop and the recovery line will float.

Recovering the survivor

Pull on the recovery line to tighten around the survivor's body. Bring the survivor to the side or stern of the vessel for the rescue.

Recovery to a sailing yacht (YachtStrop)

You can attach a block to the boom or attach the YachtStrop's recovery line to a halyard to lift the survivor, or pull the survivor on board. Block is not included.
